In Canada we use renewable and non-renewable energy sources. Each has their advantages and disadvantages. We will be discovering these as we go!

Task
You are going to learn about renewable and nonrenewable resources and then create a podcast, infographic, or Google Slides presentation about your opinion.

Steps:
1. Research and list all renewable and non-renewable resources in Canada.
2. Compare renewable and non renewable resources in Canada and compare them in a Venn Diagram.
3. List 5 advantages and disadvantages to both in a chart.
4. Think about this statement "The economic benefits of mining, including jobs, are worth the environmental damage that mining might cause.” Do you agree? Why or why not? Present your opinion as a infographic, podcast, or Google Slide presentation. Support your opinion with facts.
Make sure you include your opinion and supporting evidence to back up your claim. Try to make us take your side. You can include images, charts, graphics, and ensure you have research evidence to back you up. Remember to cite your sources.
