Introduction
Welcome fourth graders!!! You are here to help your teachers introduce a new topic to your classmates. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis are the focus and YOU are the researchers!!!!
Task
Your job is to:
1. research a famous natural disaster
2. find information and images
3. create a powerpoint to share with your classmates
Process
You will be coming to the computer lab as a group to research a famous natural disaster. You will pick a name of a famous volcanic eruption, tsunami, or earthquake from a box.
You will then use websites to find information and images about that disaster to use in your slide show You will then share with your slide show with your class.
Evaluation
A successful powerpoint will have at least 6 slides that include images:
Slide 1: title slide
Slide 2: Introduction
Slide 3-5: description of their disaster –when, where, 2 interesting facts
Slide 6: Sources
