Native Americans Webquest

Introduction

Many Native American tribes live in North America. We've studied the history of the Cherokee tribe, but what do you know about other tribes?

In this WebQuest, you will learn about the history and culture of four other tribes. In groups, you will be responsible for a specific tribe: find information about them, fill out the table you can see on the board, and use your findings to record a 2-minute presentation about your tribe.

Task

You will work in pairs to find information on the tribe that was assigned to you. Here are the links you can use for your research:

A - The Apache

Careful! A member of the Inuit tribe is called an Inuk: one Inuk, two Inuit.

Process

Once you have the required information, prepare notes to structure your presentation and record it. Don't forget to use the right tenses in your presentation.

You should cover all three categories from the table that was given to you.

Make sure both of you speak the same amount of time in the recording (around one minute each).

You should use around 30 minutes to explore the resources and find information, around 15 minutes to structure your notes and prepare your presentation, and the remaining 10 minutes to record your presentation (this will give you time to record again in case there is a problem).

Conclusion

I hope you had fun learning about another Native American tribe! Great job everyone!
