As a guide tourist, you will need to find touristic places in Concepcion that people can visit during vacations (3 max.). To be a good guide tourist you need to know about the places so after choosing the places you will need to read about them.
Your aim goal is to create a simple and fun schedule for tourists to follow and enjoy.
Process
Steps to follow:
- Step 1: Find 3 touristic places on this page: (https://www.welcomechile.com/concepcion/outings.html)
- Step 2: After choosing the 3 places, enter this Google Drive: (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1frs_vM16M7NrI3kIrjQ_EX-1ReOeQdZX8sG8DoAVxao/edit?usp=sharing) and read the information about the places you choose.
- Step 3: Create your schedule in your copybook, include a brief explanation of the activity. Follow this template:
- Step 4: After finishing your schedule, take a picture of it and upload it on Classroom.

Activity:
After finishing the lesson about unit four "My Town", the students will create a product based on what they have learned by doing a schedule including three turistic places. They will look for information on a page and then follow a selected template to work with on their copybooks. Once they are ready, they will have to upload their work on the Classroom page.

Grade Level: 4th Grade
Material:
We are using these materials because the students needed a page in which images of the places were included to recognize each place. As the information in this page was too much, we decided to create a google drive document summarizing the information to make it more approachable for the students. We also decided to include a template for the schedule for them to follow to copy it on their copybooks, we decided to use this template because it devided the days in three sections (morning - afternoon - evening). Finally, we added a short video for students to learn more about the city and its different places.
