My Dream Job

In this activity, you will explore your dream job, learn about what it involves, and share why it interests you. This will help you practice using English to describe future goals and aspirations.

Your task is to research a job that you dream of having in the future. Then, create a presentation that describes the job, the necessary skills, and why you are interested in this career. You will present this in front of the class.

• Research: Use the internet or books to find information about your dream job. Look for job descriptions, required skills, and typical tasks.
• Prepare Your Presentation: Write a short summary (about 200-300 words) explaining:
  • What the job is and its responsibilities.
  • What skills or education are needed for the job.
  • Why this job interests you personally.
• Practice: Rehearse your presentation to make sure you can deliver it confidently and clearly.

Your presentation will be graded based on the following criteria:

• Content (40%) – Includes detailed information about the job, skills, and personal interest.
• Language Use (30%) – Uses correct grammar, vocabulary, and structure.
• Presentation Skills (20%) – Speaks clearly, confidently, and engages with the audience.
• Creativity and Effort (10%) – Shows thoughtfulness and effort in both content and delivery.
