Introduction
This web quest enables online explorations in mathematics which is a unique exploration designed to be fun and engaging. Based on theoretical knowledge this WebQuest makes connections between mathematics specifically traditional fractions and the real world. Students who embark on this WebQuests become engaged in both finding information and learning from it. I invite you to engage in web-based inquiry with my WebQuests. Task
Traditional Fraction
This video identifies various types of fractions such as Decimal fraction, proper fraction, improper fraction, and mixed fraction. They enable numeric results in various aspects of mathematical equations.

Process
Students will watch a youtube video after which they will answer the follow-up questions.
The answers should be emailed to me via word document.
Evaluation
Each question is valued at Five(5) marks which gives a total of 20 marks.

2. Convert 5/10 to decimal
3. Name 4 types of fractions.
4. List 5 examples of a improper fraction.
5. List 3 examples of a mixed fraction.

I created this WebQuests with 7th graders in mind, but I believe that it can be easily modified to work for students in Grades 6 and 8. The timing and teacher involvement may need to be altered to better suit various grade levels.
