Introduction 

Students research achievements made by women in Tennessee and give a presentation to the Tennessee State Museum Board to tell them which achievements are most significant.

You have been hired by the curator of the Tennessee Museum. Your first job is to enhance the Women's section of the museum. The museum feels like there needs to be a better emphasis on the women who helped get the right to vote and how they impacted Tennessee.

You will need to create a powerpoint or poster of THREE of the most important people or achievements made by women during the Suffrage movement. Your job will be to persuade the museum board(your classmates) that your choices were impactful to the Suffrage movement and present day. Make sure to read and follow the rubric.

Part 2

For this section, you will be finding FOUR different women involved in the Tennessee suffrage movement. You will turn this in on a notebook piece of paper to me when you present. You will need to write down two achievements, and what side they were for. You need to have at least two women against the movement, and a government employee.

Now that you have done your research, decide which THREE people you will include in your presentation. You will need to prepare a powerpoint or poster of the people you have chosen. It must include their contributions to the Suffrage movement and pictures. You need to prove to the board that these people are important to the movement and Tennessee today. 

Your job will be to present a 2-5 minute presentation to the class.

Now that you have done the research and created your presentation, it is time to write about it. Write at least a 6-7 sentence paragraph about the people you have wrote about. You must include why you wrote about them and what it means to you. This will be written on the the notebook paper you wrote your research on. Make sure to section that this is your conclusion. It will be turned in to me when you present your presentation.
