Introduction
A WebQuest is a way of learning with use of the online community. You will start with this page, and then proceed to the following tabs. "Task" tells you more about what the lesson is about while "Process" provides the steps. "Evaluation" will allow you to know how it will be graded. "Conclusion" wraps up the lesson, where "credits" allows a place to provide information for websites or books used. "Teacher's Page" may have various information sources, including other sites to find information.
The purpose of this WebQuest is to increase knowledge of story elements. Story elements are essentially the puzzle pieces of a story you are reading or writing. Take the story of the Three Little Pigs. Is it enough to know there was a wolf? What if I were to tell you the wolf was bad or mean? Would you know by those to sentences what the story was about (and would it even be interesting)?
Make notes as you are working through the "task" section.
Task

- Consider how some of these story elements connect with your bookmark.
- Think of a story/book you have read and how these elements interact with that story.
- Make notes about the story elements.

Process
When looking at stories, examine the elements and analyze parts and map out what is happening.
