What does that mean?
It means that after we use them up they are gone forever.
Why does it matter?
We use fossil fuels everyday. The bus you ride to school uses fossil fuels and the electric that heats your house uses fossil fuels.
What will we do when they run out?
You are the future. That is for you to figure out.
Task
Your task:
First, you will use the websites provided to research fossil fuels.
Then you will research alternate energy sources. Then you will decide which alternate energy source makes the most sense for Pleasants County, WV to adopt in place of the fossil fuels we use now.
Finally you will prepare to present your findings AND your solution to the class.
