Introduction

When asked, "what grammar, punctuation, or usage" topics do you want to/need to learn more about, SO MANY of you answered "COMMAS." Okay, you didn't answer in all CAPS, but I like using all CAPS sometimes. 

So, let's learn more about commas. There are many "rules" to learn and many different ways to use commas, but the importance of correct comma usage all boils down to this: 

Commas help us communicate our ideas clearly. Or not. Take the famous example: 

Let's eat Grandma! 

Let's eat, Grandma! 

Commas can change everything. 

Task

You will be researching a comma rule. Your goal is to GET IT so well that you could explain it to someone else. In fact, you WILL be explaining it to someone else!
