The Ebola Virus

Introduction

There is alot of things people dont know about Ebola. Some things are that the virus is not airborn but is still contagious. Also another is that Ebola has a high risk at death, but it can be treatable if it is found at a early stage. There is not a high number of people that have survived compared to the number that have died. This is a picture of one of those people.(survivor)

Task

Essay:

This will be a 3 page assignment and will have three of your own topics and your opinion on the matter. You will have 2 days to complete this assigment. This will be 40% of your grade. You will lose 20 points every day its late. This must include one or more pictures.

Process

You must have two or more paragraphs for each topic.(3 points off for every paragraph missing) you will also have one or more paragraphs for your opinion. Each paragraph must have four or more sentences.(one point off for every sentence missing) Right before the opinion you need a conclusion. When looking for info, do NOT use wikipedia.

Evaluation:

-Topics each is 20 points

-Opinion and conclusion are 30 points together

-MLA style heading is 10 points

-Sentences missing will be 1 point off

-Grammar mistakes are also 1 point off

Conclusion

You will be reading and discussing your essay with the class the day it is turned in. If it is not done right, you will not be participating is the discussion. If it is late, you will still lose points for that day if you don't have a chance to turn your essay in to the teacher.
