Roald Dahl

Introduction



Roald Dahl is a very well known children's author who was once apart of the Royal Airforce. He started off writing becuase he was employed by The Saturday Evening Post and they asked him to write about his time flying in the airforce. Roald Dahl was married to an American actress name Patricia Neal on July 2, 1953 in New York City. They had five children together, Olivia Twenty, Chantal, Theo Matthew, Ophelia Maqdalena, and Lucy Neal. Dahl wrote some of most well known children’s story of this time, i.e. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, and so many more. Roald Dahl died on November 23, 1990.
