    Task
    • Let’s go on a WebQuest!
    • You get to play some games to help you practice your letter names and sounds!
    • There are many fun games for you to play!
    • Before you can complete a game, make sure that you have your teacher check to make sure that you are ready!
    • Now, begin and make sure to have fun!
    Process
    • The following games are great internet sites to help to practice letters and sounds. They are placed in order from easy to difficult. This is to make sure that all students are able to be challenged throughout this process.

    1. The first game that we are going to play is on Starfall. This game is one where we can visit each letter of the alphabet and practice what it is called and also what sound it makes. There are many different items that begin with the letter that you click on so that you can practice!

    2. Next we are going to stop at ABCya! On this site there are many games that help us to practice our letters with games that work on alphabetical order as well as upper and lower case letter matching! Good luck!

    3. The next stop is to visit Clifford the Big Red Dog! This page is going to help by letting you listen to a word and having you match a word that begins with the same sound! You need to drag the pictures into the box and click the bone when you are finished! Have fun!

    4. Our next task is to work at Fuzzy Lion Ears! This game is going to give a little challenge as you are going to have to work on words that are missing their beginning or ending sounds. You can listen to each sound and find the one that is missing! Work hard!

    5. Our last stop is to go to Turtle Diary! On this site we are going to work on spelling words that are missing parts, either the beginning, middle, or end! You need to make sure that you stretch your words to make sure that you hear each part! Do your best!

    Evaluation

I will be doing an evaluation with you before you begin each different game and when you complete it.

You will need to be able to show that you did well before you can move on to the next game!

    Conclusion

You have worked so very hard on your letters and their sounds!

I know that by doing all of this, you are an even better reader!

    Keep working hard!
