Introduction
This week we will begin talking about Mississippi Geography. Geography is what makes a place or location unique or different from other places. We will be going through Mississippi geography and why it is different from other locations.
Task
We will be completing a "Celebrate Mississippi" booklet. Throughout this booklet, we will look at major attractions, the capital, different cities, the Mississippi River, and etc. We will be taking a trip through all of Mississippi.
Process
We will start in our city and make our way around the whole state learning about the geography of Mississippi as we complete the booklet.
Evaluation
The teacher will evaluate the students based on partcipation and completion of the booklet.
