Introduction
You are about to discover the hiding place of the Frank family and the Van Daan family. The building where they were hidden was turned into a museum in 1960.

Task
Your task is to follow the instructions on the process screen to explore the virtual tour of the Anne Frank House.
General Instructions:
- Use the "click and drag" method to navigate each page.
- The first thing you should do when you enter each new area is look around!
- Be sure to go STEP by STEP--don't skip ahead!
Click on "Process" to begin!
Process
1. Open this link in a new tab: http://www.annefrank.org/en/Subsites/Home/Enter-the-3D-house/#/house/20/
2. Open a Google Doc in an additional tab. Title the document "Anne Frank Virtual Tour by" and include your name in the title.
3. Take a few minutes and explore the virtual website. Practice clicking and dragging to look around the spaces, using the yellow symbols to navigate to different rooms, reading all of the pop-up information, and finding "hotspots" or the small blue circles in each room. Continue to explore until the teacher asks for your attention.
4. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click the floor plan or the link that says "Open the 3-D Floor Plan."
5. Hover over the second floor spaces until you find "Room Frank Family." Click on that space.
6. Search for a "Hot Spot" in this room - remember they are the blue circles. Choose one of the hotspots and listen to what it says.
7. Go to your Google Doc. Write the TITLE and a TWO SENTENCE SUMMARY of what you heard from the Hot Spot.
8. Return to the virtual tour. Locate the yellow symbol that says "Room Anne Frank" and click.
9. Look around the room, and find the Hot Spot titled "Her Most Treasured Posession." Click and listen.
10. After you have listened, go to your Google Doc. Write the TITLE and a TWO SENTENCE SUMMARY of the Hot Spot "Her Most Treasured Posession."
11. Return to the virtual tour. Locate the yellow symbol that links to "Bathroom." Click.
12. Explore the bathroom space. Then click on the yellow symbol leading to "Hallway Secret Annex." Then click on the yellow symbol that says "Room Van Pels Family."
13. Look around the room, then click on the yellow symbol leading to "Room Peter Van Pels."
14. Look around the room, then click on the yellow symbol leading to "Attic Secret Annex."
15. Look around the room. Find the Hot Spot titled "Anne Draws Comfort from Nature." Listen to the Hot Spot.
16. Go to your Google Doc. Write the TITLE of the Hot Spot and a TWO SENTENCE SUMMARY of "Anne Draws Comfort from Nature."
17. Return to the virtual tour. Click on the "Evaluation" tab at the top or bottom of the screen.
Evaluation
Copy and paste the following question into your Google Doc:
Which of the rooms in the virtual tour did you find the most interesting and why?
Answer in at least THREE FULL SENTENCES in your Google Doc.
Conclusion
Congratulations, you have completed the webquest! If you get done early, feel free to explore the other additional areas of the Anne Frank house. There are many places we didn't see--go find them!
