Web Quest!!!

Introduction

Introduction to my webquest......

As you all know, a webquest is a bit like a quest the Knights of years past used to go on, but with a modern technological twist. A webquest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the internet!

This is my first attempt at looking at Webquests in week three of ESH380!

Task

The task part is usualy where the goals or expectations are set for the student. It is kind of like a Knights code in a way as it is an outline to follow.....

This is where the teacher is able to tell the students what they are expected to complete or attempt during this Webquest.

Process

This section outlines step by step information about how to complete the task.

This is where you would outline what you want and where to find out essential information by providing website addresses, copies of worhsheets, graphic organisers etc etc

It is kind of like a checklist for the knights (1. slay dragon, 2. save Princess)...

Evaluation

This is where the assessment (in the form of a rubric, checklist etc) would be for the students to find to help them evalaute their group or their work.

Knights often have to ensure that they evaluate their work as they go so they can see how they can improve.

Conclusion

Where is all comes together.

There may be information regarding how the student submits the task, or how the will reflect on what they have learnt throughout the process.

Knights would often be eating around the round table talking about their quest in this part.

Credits

This is where you would list all the websites used, and mention something about permission in using this webquest.

Teacher Page

This page could have details of why you have created the webquest task and what you hoped to achieve through using this online learning object.
