Introduction
We will be reviewing meiosis and what happens in each stage.

Task
- You will be taking a few notes on PMAT
- You will write a paragraph on why mitosis is important
- You will take a short multiple-choice quiz on Cellular Reproduction on Google Forms

Process
Prophase
- Nucleus disappears
- Chromatin condenses
- Centrioles start to form
Metaphase
- Centrioles arrive at poles
- Spindle fibers stretch across cell
- Chromosomes line up in the middle of cell
- Spindle fibers attach to centromere
Anaphase
- Spindle fibers contract
- Sister chromaids are pulled to opposite poles
Telophase
- Chromosomes group together at opposite poles
- Nuclear membrane reforms
- Cytoplasm begins to pinch

Evaluation
Conclusion
Mitosis is important so living things can live. We need our cells for almost everything.
