Introduction
In today's lesson, we will be discussing and introducing measurement (length) and conversions (time)
What is the definition of length?
Length is the term used for identifying the size of an object or distance from one point to another. Length is a measure of how long an object is or the distance between two points.
How can we convert time?
Time can be converted using the following measures:
60 seconds = 1 minute.
60 minutes = 1 hour.
24 hours = 1 day.
7 days = 1 week.
12 months = 1 year
We will be looking at different units of measurement, mostly working with length, for example, millimeter (mm) - centimeter (cm) - meter (m) - kilometer (km). As well as working with time, converting seconds - minutes - hours - days.

Task
Look at the conversion charts, then make sense of the following conversions:
| 1 cm | 10 mm |
| 1 m | 1000 mm |
| 1 m | 100 cm |
| 1 km | 1000 m |
| 1 minute | 60 seconds |
| 1 hour | 60 minutes |
| 1 day |
24 hours |
Example Conversions:
1. 120 mm to cm = 120 mm/10 = 12 cm
2. 350 cm to m = 350 cm/100 = 3.5 m
3. 2440 mm to m = 2440 mm/1000 = 2.44 m
4. 62 km to m = 62 km x 1000 = 6200 m
5. 540 seconds to minutes = 540 seconds/60 = 9 minutes
6. 5 hours to minutes = 5 hours x 60 = 300 minutes
7. 72 hours to days = 72 hours/24 = 3 days
