Introduction
CONGRATULATIONS! You are able to adopt a wild animal of your choice! You are allowed to choose any wild animal, but here's the catch. You and two others have to create a habitat for that animal, seeing as they need to be in an environment that's fit for them to survive. Good luck!

Task
TASK
Your task is to create an ideal habitat for the animal of your choosing. You will be assigned a habitat, and in your groups of three, you will research the habitat that is given to you, and choose an animal. You will each be assigned a role that will help you to come up with all the information you need to create your habitat for your chosen animal. In the end, you will gather all your information together to create a visual of your animal's habitat.

Process
You will begin this lesson by watching a video on the habitat that you are provided:
1. Forests

2. Grasslands
3. Deserts

4. Wetlands

5. Tundra

You can also find other information about your habitat by using this website:

*YOU WILL THEN CHOOSE AN ANIMAL FROM YOUR HABITAT TO RESEARCH*
Once your group has chosen an animal, you will each choose a role that helps to research different things you need for your animal and the habitat that they live in. The roles include:
1. Food Finder: The person who takes this role will research food that the animal needs to survive. This could include plants, animals, etc. that the animal needs to eat to survive. This must be included in your habitat.
2. Adapter: The person who takes this role will research how the animal will adapt to their environment. For example this should include; camoflauge, predators, etc. This must be included in your habitat.
3. Shelter: The person who takes this role will research how this animal will survive in its shelter. What does it do to make itself a good home?
** Your notes for your role should include the main points you found researching, and what you think would be important in helping create your habitat**
Once you have gathered all of this information together. You and your group members are to create a visual (poster, diagram, shoebox model etc.) of your habitat for your animal. This should include all of the information that each of your group members gathered and should be displayed in the visual.
Your final job will be to present your findings and visual to the class as a group!
