Task
The students should fully understand that the Sun appears large and bright because it's closer to Earth than other stars.
Process
The teacher will show a diagram of the atmosphere, showing that the Sun is close to Earth. After showing the diagram, the teacher will also show pictures of the Sun and pictures of stars. The stars will look smaller and less bright because they are farther away than the Sun. The teacher will then explain that the Sun is close to Earth than other stars. The teacher can also show a video of someone looking into a telescope, showing many stars in the atmosphere.
Evaluation
The evaluation will be for students to complete a two parapragh paper explaining why the Sun appears nigger and brigher than other stars.
Given pencil and paper, students will explain why the Sun appears brighter and closer than other stars, with 80% accuracy.
Conclusion
By the end of the lesson, students will fully understand the difference between the Sun and other stars and will have knowledge of why and how the Sun appears brighter and nigger than other stars.
