Introduction
You have been selected to a special task force for our company, Events of Clarksville. This task force will be responsible for unrolling social media within our company. We are already a bit behind the technology times and most employees within the company will need assistance in order to smoothly transition into the world of social media. The main focus of this task force is to smoothly transition our old world company into a high tech company using the social media platform of twitter, and to also provide a set of guidelines in order to prevent any embarassment within this public platform.
Task
1. Create a memorandum in which all employees will have a copy of our Company Policy for Social Media. You are also responsible for creating the policy for Social Media usage.
2. Provide email responses for all email communication in which the Social Media Task force uses to create the Social Media Policy and Twitter User Mannual
3. Create a user-friendly instruction mannual for employees of all technological advancement can use.
4. Provide a presentation in which you discuss the documents you have created.
5. (Technical Writer is excluded from this task) Write a two page paper using MLA format. This paper will discuss what you aspect of the task force did in participation of this webquest.
Process
Social Media Policy Creator
This person is responsible for creating a Social Media Guideline in which a code of conduct for online post and messages will be created. Below are websites in which other companies have used for their social media policys as well as websites that provide how to construct your own social media policy.
- The Social Media Policy must be written clear and concise.
- Minimum of two pages double spaced

Secretary
The secretary for this task force is responsible for gathering information on each aspect of the task force, and creating a smooth communication within each aspect. This person is responsible for emailing information that is necessary for each person within the task force to continue with their work outside of designated meeting times. This person is also responsible for creating the memorandum which will include the social media policy, creating a portfolio of all emails sent in the community of the task force, and printing a hard copy of the final Twitter User Manual. - There must be 1 memorandum establishing the social media policy within the company provided in hardcopy the day of presentation
- There must be a minimum of five emails sent within the task force community provided in hardcopy the day of your presentation
- There must be one hardcopy of the user manual provided to the teacher May 5, 2014.
Technical Writers-
The technical writer will be responsible for creating a user friendly document in which employees will use each time they access twitter or have a question about twitter. This document must contain a table of contents, step-by step directions, and screen shots. Below are websites that will help when working on how-to mannuals.

- Be sure to not leave a step out. The best way to do this is to proofread by using the user-manual yourself.

- Must be MLA Citation, double spaced, two page minimum.
- Technical Writer is excluded from this assignment due to the amount of work the Technical writer must use to complete the user document.

Once this task force has completed a secretarial portfolio, a successful social media policy, and a Twitter user manual, you will successfully have launched Events of Clarksvilles Social Media platform.
