By solving it, follow the steps:
Step 1: we know that x² is a two x, so we need to split it into two to make it (x )(x ).
Step 2: in order to know what sign do we need to input, remember that if it (+) like it indicated on tge question then we have to make it (x - )(x + ).
Note: if it says (-) then it should be (x + )(x - ).
Step 3: at the last part of the question which 1, we need to find what number can multiply by it. Since 1 is 1x1. We can say (x - 1)(x + 1).
Step 4: finalization of the answer which is (x - 1)(x +1).
