Introduction
As a student you may often ask yourself, "Why am I learning this math?" or "When am I ever going to use this?" Well you may be surprised! We use numbers, problem solving, and patterns everyday!

Task
Your task is to create a poster, a brochure, or a Google slide presentation showing how you will use math in your future! Click the play button below to watch a short video of kids talking about what they want to be when they grow up.
Process
First, you will need to think about what you want to do when you grow up. Investigate how you will get the training/education for your chosen career. You will then need to investigate the career and look for ways that you will be using math.
Create a small poster, a brochure, or a Google slide presentation describing how you will use math in your future.
Be sure to visit the "evaluation" page to find out how your final product will be assessed.
Evaluation
You will be evaluated on the following:
- Final product is engaging and informative.
- List of resources is included. (This is how you got your information while you researched.)
- Student discussed how math will be used in training/education for chosen future career.
- Student discussed how math will be used in future chosen career.
- Student is able to have a conversation showing a deep understanding of their research.
- Hard work and effort is evident in the final product.
