The City of Ember

Lina and Doon are trying to figure out a way to get out of Ember, thier city underground. They have constant blackouts, and they are running out of food. Lyna is a messanger and Doon works in the pipeworks. And together, they try to find a way out. Lynas grandmother Was looking for something that was lost, but not even she knew what it was, not until Lina found Poppy, her little sister, chewing on a paper that she had found in a strange box. Lynas grandmother had died later that week. Could this paper lead to the way out of Ember?

Doon and Lina have found a box the have instructions for something, but they dont know what, they hope that it is the way out of Ember. They search for things in the pipeworks to look for the egress, or the exit. If they do find the exit, how will the others know about the exit, how will she get poppy to saftey, but most of all, is there even an egress? When they get too far to find the exit, if there isn't one, they wont be able to fight the currents of the river, but this is what they are willing to do to find another city. They take poppy and float, well more like Ride down the raging river in hopes of finding a new city.

Lina and Doon went down to explore the pipeworks to try to find what the instruction said, A stone with an 'E' on it. Lina works as a messanger, but Doon works in the pipeworks, so he can look for the stone. If he doesnt find it, then they are stuck in Ember. But doon found the stone. Lina later went into pipeworks with doon and looked at the stone for herself. When she first saw it, the 'E' was hardly noticable, but when she looked closer, she saw it. Was this the way out?

Instructions

Lina was worried that she wouldn't be able to tell anyone about the exit. she doesnt even know if there is an exit, but if there is, how will she tell everyone else? She has a note, but they can't go back up the river, its white water. it could injure them if not kkill them, So they must find out if there is an exit out of Ember, and if there is, find a way to tell the others. Doon wrote a note to his dad, but what if Doon's dad thinks it is just a joke? Then what?

Doon, Lina, and Poppy saw a light, Was this the way out? Did they find it? they got to the light and they smelled the grass, they made it, they are out of Ember. They sit there and rest for a while. Then they ate some carrots and read a book that they had found on the trip out of Ember. It was writen by a woman who was on her way to Ember. Lina had later found a hole in the ground that leads to Ember. They lived under ground! Not only was the Pipeworks under ground, but so was Ember! Then, Lina remembered that she had the note that she was gonna give to Clary. She tied it to a rock, dropped it down the hill and hoped for the best.
