Every business is different, so you may need to seek some additional local advice or information about special conditions that apply to your type of business or to running a business in the Philippines.
This web quest is designed to help the Senior High School Business Students to explore the business world. The students will assess themselves as entrepreneurs. They will make a research about the different important traits of entrepreneurs, important details in starting a business, and how to create a simple business plan. The students may use the web resources in this page or the other resources as needed. The goals are for students to appreciate the business ideas, know how to enter to a business and to accomplish a simple business plan.
Task

The class will be divided into five to ten groups. Then, each group will assess themselves as entrepreneurs. Each group will make a research about the important personal characteristics and skills of potential entrepreneurs, factors to consider in starting a business and the essential parts of a simple business plan. After the research, the students should be able to develop their business ideas, assess the market and develop a marketing plan, organize a business, costing and pricing their products or services and estimate their start-up capital. You can start making the task through the help of web resources provided in this web quest, group outputs should be well documented for a group portfolio. As final task, each group should be able to submit a simple business plan.

2. Group effort is needed to have a very well organized and complete outputs. So, All members should participate.
3. After reading related articles, you can now identify the important personal characteristics of entrepreneurs and the important details to consider in starting a business.
4. By using the resources through the web, text books and videos, you can now finally start the step by step procedures in making a simple business plan. The essential parts should be complete and properly presented.
5. After finishing the step by step procedures, you can now start your group portfolio and simple business plan final output.
6. Groups who will submit earlier will be given additional points.
