Welcome!

You are exploring the creation story of the Catholic faith. You will discover why we the creation story is so important, why God gave us the world and what we need to do to respect creation.

In your groups:

1. Create a storyboard of one of the creation stories.

2. Research the Big Bang theory and reflect on the similarities between the theory and the Creation story.

3. Create a presentation on ways to look after God's creation-our world.

Step One:

Create a storyboard retelling one of the stories of Creation (Gen 1:1-2:3, Gen 2:4-2:25).

Step Two:

- Visit the links here to research the Big Bang theory.

- Discuss the similarities between the theory and the Creation story.

- Create a Venn Diagram showing the similarities and differences between the scientific and religious accounts of creation.

Step Three:

Create a presentation on ways to look after God's creation-our world.

- Using either PhotoStory, PowToon, ShowMe or Powerpoint.

- Think about ways to keep our world clean, sustainable and healthy.

- Think about ways humans should treat each other and other living things.
