Marie Curie WQ!

Introduction

In this task, my high school students, who are generally between 15-16, will be researching the scientist Marie Curie, as the task's topic is people in history. They will write a paper and their final product will be a poster that will be evaluated. This will be a CLIL task and CEFR is B1 (intermediate). In my students' previous lessons, we touched on some grammar and vocabulary points.

Task

You will use the links below and prepare a short biography of Marie Curie (400-500 words). Then, you will prepare a poster on anything you learned from Curie's biography.  Both your biography paper and  poster will be evaluated.

Process

In your paper, take these into consideration. There is also a recommended link about how to write a bioghrapgy.

-General essay construction (introduction, body, conclusion.)

-Grammar and spelling

After writing your paper, you will prepare a poster! You can choose any topic that you learned from Curie's life. There is a recommended link about how to prepare a poster.
