Many Cells, Many tasks

Introduction

All organism have cells. We are going to talk about the nerve cells, the fat cells, the Schwann, how does the frog eggs rejuvenate human cells, and digestive cells. There cells have different functions, and they help in different things.

Task

Here are the questions:

1. What do researchers think is one cause of memory impairment related to growing older? What does new research show that may be able to help reverse this process?

2. How might fat cells be able to help people with spinal cord injuries?

3. How are frog eggs being used in research involving human cells?

4. What are Schwann cells? How are they affected in multiple sclerosis

patients?

5. What role do cells play in preventing the stomach from digesting itself?

Process

Here are the answers of the questions:

1. With decreased blood flow to the brain

2. The fat cells could be used to make tissues and support a spinal cord

3. In the article "frog eggs rejuvenate human cells , by Helen Pilcher, it says: Immature frog

eggs can rejuvenate adult human cells. Molecules in the amphibian nucleus induce mature

human DNA to return to an adaptive star similar to stem cells. There have been a lot of studies

about this thory like the study of Gurdon's team, the experiment consists in injecting an

immature egg with the nuclei from adult mouse or human white blood cells.

4. Schwann cell surrounding neurous protect the degeneration of nerves by bloking

thrombin, blood-clotting protein that can also damage nerves

5.the stomach is protected by a cell called epithelial cell that produces and secretes a

bicarbonate rich solution that coats the mucosa. This continuous supply of bicarbonate is the

main way the stomach protects from digesting itself.

Summary

Growing older makes us lose our memory. Some causes of age related memory

loss are: The hippocampus, decreased blood flow to the brain, etc. What's causing

your memory loss? There are many causes, like for example, depression, vitamine

B12 deficiency, alcohol abuse, etc.

Discarded fat cells look like nerve cells. Fat cells are specialized for the storage of

energy. There are white fat cells and brown fat cells.

Immature frog eggs can rejuvenate adult human cells. Many people have made a

lot of studies on how frog eggs can rejuvenate human cells, even some people use

this technique.

The function of the Schwann cell is a type of glial cell of the peripheral nervous

system that helps separate and insulate nerve cells; they play an essential role in

the development, maintenance, function, and regeneration of peripheral nerves.

The body has a cell called epithelial, that protects the stomach from autodigestion,

(it protects the stomach from digesting itself.

Evaluation

We learned a lot of thing about cells. Fist we learn about the nerve cells. The loss of nerve cells can affect the loss of memory.

nerve cells are responsible for different thoughts or perceptions, drift in and out of action.

There are the fat cells. Fat cells store energy. There are white fat cells, and brown fat cells. Fat cells are typically round cells of variable sizes with a single, large, lipid droplet. And brown fat cells is a special type of body fat that activate when you get cold.

Immature frog eggs can rejuvenate human cells. Molecules in the amphibian nucleus coax mature human DNA back to an adaptable. Amphibian extract may take adult DNA back to stem-cell state.

Schwann cells help in the development, maintenance, function, and regeneration of peripheral nerves.

Finally we have the digestive cells. These cells, called epithelia, protect the stomach from digesting itself. Basically it protects the body from eating itself.

Conclusion

In conclusion the cells have different functions, and help us day by day, and with out these cells we weren’t be able to live.
