Malala's World Webquest

Introduction

To prepare for the novel unit on I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai, you will complete a webquest to become familiar with the traditions, history, religion, landscape, and vocabulary of a different culture.

Task

As you research the following topics, take notes to include three facts that you find interesting and three facts that you think are important. These cannot be the same.

1. Middle East

2. Pakistan

3. Swat Valley

4. Pashtun

5. Islam

6. Muslim

7. The Quran

8. Eid/Ramadan

9. Pakistani culture

You will then create a Google slide to include the information on each of these topics.

After you have created your slides, you will be placed in a group to discuss the information to include in a group slideshow that addresses your topics with no repeat information.

WHEN CREATING SLIDES:

  • three bullet points per slide
