3 DIY Tips in Designing Your Own Bedroom!

Introduction

Tired of watching your boring plain bedroom?

Not anymore!

In this webquest, you will be learning three DIY crafts in order to make your bedroom more spacious, colorful and perfect for your taste!

Task

1. The first thing you want to prioritize is to make a creative bedroom as much as possible!

2. Your second task is to have fun and learn how to make your DIY decorations!

3. And your third and final task is to compare your previous bedroom to the new and improved version of it!

Process

1.  DIY Melting Crayon Paintings

You're gonna need...

Crayons

Blank Canvas

Glue Gun

Hair Dryer

STEP 1

Align your crayons depending on their color and then, use glue gun to hold them within your blank canvas.

STEP 2

Using your hair dryer, carefully melt he crayon until the melted color drip continuously onto your canvas.

STEP 3

Notice that the melted color creates an artistic design by itself on your canvas. Stop at your desired result.


STEP 4

You're pretty much done! You can also use different colors for it! Be creative! 

2.  DIY Mustache Lamp

You're gonna need...

paper mustache

hot glue gun or a piece of double-sided tape

your lamp

STEP 1

There are many ways on how to make your own mustache. You can print one from a template

or simply draw your desired kind of mustache.

STEP 2

Using a hot glue or double sided tape, attach the mustache outside your lamp. Viola! You now have a mustache lamp!

You can also add more mustache if you want!

STEP 3

Now put your new mustache lamp beside your bed. No more boring lamp shades because you now got a mustache on you!

3.  DIY Hanging Polaroid/Picture Display

You're gonna need...

Polaroids/Pictures

Yarn

Pins

Mini Clothespin

STEP 1

Gather all the pictures that you want to hang.

STEP 2

Using your pins, pin them to your wall. They will support your yarn afterwards.

STEP 3

Knot your yarn from your pins. These is where you will hang your pirctues.

STEP 4

Hang your polaroids freely without order using your clothespins. You can also add caption under it! Add more lines to it too!

The more, the merrier!
