In this WebQuest, you will embark on a language learning journey through the exploration of interactive activities that will improve your second language proficiency. You will increase your language skills and deepen your understanding of different cultures by using multimedia tools and interactive exercises.
Task
By the end of the WebQuest, students should have developed competence in the use of the language macro skills of reading and writing with an emphasis on listening and speaking through various culturally relevant interactive and thought-provoking activities. your role in this WebQuest is crucial and your toolkit includes your ability to understand, listen, speak, read, write, and think in the target language.
Your task includes listening to audio clips/video recordings, using the target language, reading, and displaying your knowledge through the production of spoken words entrenched in culturally relevant real-life situations.
Process
Students, get ready to explore the English Language. Take a positive approach to each stage and allow the spirit of collaboration to drive your success. Working through these stages can help you develop teamwork and creativity in addition to improving your communication skills.
Phase 1
The first thing you should do is learn the relevant information. You will watch a culturally relevant YouTube video in the target language. Watch the video and become acquainted with asking questions and introducing yourself in English. Phase 2
It is time to change the flow! I want you to listen, think, and speak in English as you collaborate to communicate. Work in pairs. Talk about yourselves and how you would respond to various introductory questions creatively. Practice speaking and listening by discussing points and asking questions in English. Phase 3
