The Life of Helen Keller

Introduction

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you couldn't see or hear?  Imagine not being able to communicate with your family or friends. Helen Keller is someone who knows first hand what that kind of life is like. She became a successful author and activist who was both blind and deaf. We will learn about some of the obstacles she faced and how she overcame them. , 

Task

Complete the following tasks listed below, as you begin to explore the life of Helen Keller.

Conclusion

You have learned about Helen Keller and the many struggles she faced as a child who had to learn to communicate with others. We were able to complete the activity in which we were able to get a perspective of her life and what it was like being blind and deaf. We also discovered how much of an impact she made in her life, as she learned to communicate in a different way than most people.
