Task
In this project you will work in groups. Each group will be assigned a story and will have to identify the elements/main idea through descriptions and visuals using PowerPoint slides.
Process
Assignment Instructions:
- Sit with your group and read your assigned story together by popcorn reading.
- Complete the handout based on the story you just read together and share your ideas.
- Open PowerPoint to create a slideshow that as a group you will present to the class.
- Assign each person in the group a task.
Tasks available-
- Someone to do the characters slide
- Someone to do the settings slide
- Someone to do the "Who, What, Why" slide
- Someone to do the "When and Where" slide
- For the main idea slide work together
Your presentation should include a title slide that introduces everyone in the group, a summary of the story, and each slide needs to include what your findings were, but also visuals that match your evidence. You may use different fonts but only if you can read it. Feel free to change the color of your slides. Make sure that your work is shown clearly on each slide though. Have fun with it!
