Introduction
Learning objective - With today's work students will be able to cite and write site words by tracing them under the correct shape. They will also be able to identify shapes by colors
They will also be able to match, name, and list shapes that should be familiar,
Task
The task i would have them do is to show me that they are able to categorize colors, shapes, and words. an assignment like this would show them words that they are familiar with and see around the classroom. I'd want them to identify a shape that is given by its color, sides, and word identification. tracing the word and drawing a picture of the shape or connecting the lines is how the work can be completed.
Process
Students will be given a worksheet that has words (names of shapes) that has to be traced.
next students will need to match the name of the shape with a picture of the shape.
their names on top of the paper is something that will be looked for
the worksheets need to be colored and i will be looking for at least 3 colors and an attempt to stay in the lines.
drawing a line to match the shape or drawing the shape is required
this is a homework-based assignment that needs to be completed at home.

Evaluation
Paper will be graded based Soley on participation and effort
percent out of 100
5 points - for a paper that has name written in (date of some sort will be expected)
25 points - work that is traced and rewritten if needed
25 points - work and lines connect answers are correct and correspond
25 points - work is colored in with at least 3 different colors
20 points - work is turned in on time and signed by a helping parent of adult
OR
if it is a 10-question paper then 10 points per correct question
