Introduction
Students will be learning about farm animals and the sounds they make. First we will read a book called Noisy Farm by Jessica Greenwell which has great pictures along with a story is a big board book with a sound panel full of farm animal noises is perfect for sharing with small children. Little fingers will not be able to resist pressing the buttons to make the noises of all the animals on the farm, including a cockerel, cow, donkey, pig and a dog. The students will be able to hear the sounds the animals make and then repeat them when the teachers asks. Throughout the book the teacher will explain that the students should make the noise with her when she is reading to engage the students more. Students will also look up songs and videos the teacher has saved on the iPads and computer that will better help them understand farm animals and their noises they make.
Task
- Objective: Farm animals and the sounds they make.
- Standard: K.TS.7.B Use visual tools to communicate information.
- Assessment: Students will act out an animal and the other students will guess what animal the student is trying to convey.
- Small Groups: Put students in groups of 2 and 3 kids.They will use the internet to find songs or videos they can use to help them understand what sounds each animal makes

Process
- Objective: Students will learn about farm animals and the sounds they make.
- Celebration of Learning”: Posters with all the different farm animals on them, Songs they can listen to that helps them know what sounds the farm animals make, books That they can read or even just look at the pictures, Dramatic play area where they can dress up and act like the animals, flashcards with the farm animals with their names, and the sound they make on the back, and coloring sheets of animals.
- Task 1: Each student will find some pictures on different farm animals on the class computer or the iPad. Each student will make sure they watch 2 of the 3 videos on YouTube the teacher has already opened on the computer or iPads. Task 2: Students will play Charades. Where each student will need to act out an animal they have chosen and the other students will need to guess the animal.

Evaluation
Teacher will assess students through observations and ca checklist. The teacher can observe and check off the checklist as the students engage in playing charades. Checklist: Student is engaged in dramatic play, Student is engaged in reading the books, Student is engaged in making animal sounds while using the computer or iPad, student is engaged in reading and learning what each animal looks like and the sounds they make.

Conclusion
