Task
Task:
Students will partner up with one other person, each creating a simple map of their neighborhood/and home, and recite their address to one another!
Process
Here are the steps!
1) Grab a piece of paper and coloring utensils, creating a colorful simple representation of your neighborhood.
2) Write down your home address on the back of your map!
3) With your partner, practice reciting your address to one another. (If you mess up, start again!)
4) With your partner, use your finger and practice following the directions it takes to get to your home.
5) With your partner, practice roleplaying scenarios where you would need to use your address with one another. (Make sure to speak loud and clear!)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Both you and your partner will be responsible for creating, and reciting each their own personalized map of their neighborhood.
As you each take your turns, one partner will be responsible for handling the compass, used in aiding your directions around your neighborhood. (Remember, sharing is caring!)
