Introduction
History is full of women who have made a large impact in all areas although we rarely hear of them. They are not typically revered or remembered as their counterparts but rather lead innovations in shadow. I would like for us to place them in the limelight, study, write and present about them and give them the credit for their work as they deserve.
Task
You will choose one leader of women's rights from the list of women provided and write about their stories. Your paper should be two pages in length, and include the following; their birthplace and year, short description of their early life, their contribution to the women's rights movement(what rights did they fight for and how did they fight for them), and other contributions they made, include their struggles as well as their triumphs. You will then present your findings to the class. The women you may research are:
Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Carrie Chapman Catt, Shirley Chisholm, or Susan B Anthony
Process
These link will provide you information about their lives and also speeches they have made. Be sure to site your sources.

Conclusion
From this project you should have a better understanding of the person you have researched. Once the presentations are underway you may learn more about the same person or about another person entirely.
