Introduction
In this lesson, students will research Lawrence Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development. Previous content area knowledge on Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development will be referred to. Each student will complete an end-of-lesson activity.

Task
1. Students will click on the Youtube video introducing Kohlberg's stages of moral development and the Heinz Dilemma.
-What are the main questions considered at each stage? Ex: A child in Stage 1 of the preconventional level may ask the question "How can I avoid punishment?"
2. Class will discuss what they might do in the Heinz Dilemma
3. Students will read the background information of Lawrence Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development related to Piaget's stages of Cognitive Development.
4. Students will complete the activity applying their knowledge learned of the levels and stages of Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development.
