Hello to my grade 9 English class students! Today we will be brushing up on your writing skills in a one page responsive essay!

Task
You will write a one page responsive essay to the article I have chosen on bullying. Here is the link to the article:

Process
Here are the following steps I would like you to take:
1. Read the article. Highlight anything that seems relevant to you.
2. Brainstorm your ideas on a piece of paper.
3. Write a one page typed double space responsive essay.
Here are some questions you want to consider in your essay:
1. What is bullying?
2. In what ways have bullying behavior been manifested?
3. How can you help someone who you believe is being bullied?
4. If you ever have been bullied, what steps did you take? If not, what are some of the steps that you should take?
5. How can you help promote anti-bullying?

In this responsive essay, do not forget to answer the questions provided to you. Highlight and brainstorm your ideas- this will help you to process the content and organize your thoughts.
