Latin languages

Introduction

Latin languages (or Romantic languages) are direct descendants of Latin, specifically Vulgar Latin. The most well-known Latin languages are Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Romanian, but there are others as well, such as Catalan and Romansh. There are also many Latin borrowings in English and Albanian, as well as a few in German, Dutch, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish, but these are not Latin languages.

The purpose of this WebQuest is to help you broaden your knowledge of Latin languages in light of the European Day of Languages.
