Introduction

                                  What is a Landform??

Task

                What is the ideal combination of landforms? 

There are landforms all over the world, but what purpose do they have? After studying some different types of landforms and where they are located within the world, you will create your own continent using at least 5 different landforms and present why you decided to include these into your country.

1. Watch the video and write down some notes about each type of landforms mentioned

 

2. Visit each of the following links to research information on each of the landforms. Be sure to name at least one landform in North America and one in Australia.

Day 1: Introduction video/discussion and task discussion/ Step 1 of process 

Day 2: Step 2 and 3 of process

Day 3-4: Evaluation (creations can be as complex as you want. Students may create 3-D models out of Legos or found materials or may draw pictures. The more complex, the more class time will be needed) 

Day 5- Present to class
