The students will write 2 diary entries taking on the persona of one of the 4 options: Farm. American reporter and a Latin American reporter. After reading several pieces of literature, newspaper articles, and memoirs students will have the motives behind the perspective of their chosen character. As a final piece the 2 diary entries of each persona will be collected and shared so the class can see immigration issues through different lenses.
Introduction
