Introduction

Have you ever wondered what the weather was like around the world? And what's the weather going to be like tomorrow? This webquest will help you figure out the answer to these questions. 

Task

Before we begin our trip around the world, let's learn a little about temperature and precipitation.

What is temperature? Temperature is how you measure how hot or cold something is.

Now, what does precipitation mean? Precipitation is rain or snow or sleet or hail.  

Precipitation is part of the water cycle. The water cycle is how water gets up to the clouds and back down again!

Process

Now that you know what temperature and precipitation are you can look up the temperature and precipitation for places all over the world! You should have a sheet of paper with a list of cities on it. Click on the city name that matches the city on your paper and then write on your paper the answers. Your teacher will do the first few ones with you so you'll understand what to do.

Hint: precipitation is the same thing as cloudy or rainy or snowing.
