Introduction
This webquest is for beginner ESL students to practice their speaking and listening skills. It requires that you work with a partner comparing and contrasting other families from different parts of the world.
We are all part of a family, but families around the word are not all alike. For example, some families eat different kinds of foods and have different traditions.
Look at the video below: How is this family the same or different from yours.
Task
You and your partner will discuss in English the similarities and differences in your families.
Process
1. You will be with a partner to discuss the similarities and differences.
2. You can use the Venn diagram below.
3. You must attach one picture of your family or something that represents it to the Venn diagram.
4. You must provide at least five differences and five similarities.
