Objectives:
Students will be able to understand the following:
1.) The differences between totalitarianism and democracy
2.) The historical roots of the democratic tradition

Athens and Sparta are the two rivals of ancient Greece. Although they are close together on the map, they are far apart in what they value and how they live their lives. A new museum is opening and you have been asked to go on a scavenger hunt on the ancient land of Greece. You will find artifacts and information from the time period. It will be your job to identify whether it belonged to the Athenians or the Spartans.
