The difference between a chemical change and a physical change is that a physical change affects the appeareance of an object, and a chemical change affects the structure of an object.

What makes a chemical change?

What makes a chemical change is its ability to react with another substance. An example of a chemical change is mixing baking soda with vinegar. The combination of these two substances sets off a chemical reaction, causing a mild "eruption".
