Introduction

One the most powerful natural force found on planet earth is a Volcano. “A volcano is a hole within the earth’s crust in which steam, gases and molten rock spew out,” (McLean and Lockridge). In their more clam state, a volcano appears inviting and is filled with wonders. However, when they errupt, they carry a distructive force which is almost impossible for humans to defend agianst. In this Webquest we will discover - in a safe yet interactive environment, types of volcanoes.
Task
You are required to work in groups (6) in order to complete this activity.This task will require that you to do a demonstration on of teh content you will cover throughout the duration of the lesson. You will share your findings to the class (using any material - written and electronic - to enhance your presentation according the topic you'll recieve as a group). Follow the links in the process section to review the Addition of Fractions.
The links provided in that section will give an overview of the content base of your group study.
These resources will provide you with examples for completing the activity.
You are expected to research the concept and write a brief description that will enhance your presentations at the end of the time alotted for content covering and preparation.
However, you will discuss in detail one of the most interesting aspects you discovered as a group.
Process

Step 1: Use the links provided in the task section to review the aspect of the lesson that each group will be required to cover, before attempting your task.
Step 2: Use all the relivant sited examples, both on the videos and powerpoints the to aid you in presentation. Draw a diagram, were applicable to illustrate each senario.
Step 3: Explore websites using any search engines you choose to find three relivate "did you know?" facts that will help in your group's presentation.
Step 4: Use one(1) of these facts you discovered from your research to make a five (5) minute presentation to the class.
(Use as many resources as possible to aid in your presentaion.)
Step 5: Present your finding to the class:
- Do not exceed 5 minutes. (may be less).
- Be creative
- Use Microsoft Office PowerPoint ONLY IF YOU HAVE THAT RESOURCE.
