Well, a reason why only people taken as slaves were blacks and or Africans would be because they were less powerful they had nothing to do sometimes, the whites thought they were useless at everything else so they put them to work…. Work for them!!!

I agree. Back then, whites were the ones that had a lot of money so therefore they were the ones that brought and kept slaves for their own selfish needs and acts.

They were usually tied up because some of them would try to escape, run away and or commit suicide. They thought that setting them free was a wrong thing to do, especially since they loved being served everyday they didn’t have to work much.

Yes, your correct. During that time period there were some people who listened and kept quiet because they were afraid to act out. However, there was others that didn’t care about what will happened if they tried to escape because they believe it would be worse to do nothing than to try and escape.

In my opinion I believe that they hit them for fun. They didn’t really like and or agree on much the black and or Africans had to say they believed they were much more than them…well they were

Yes, the whites enjoy to watch the whites suffer however they were only a couple who didn’t hit the slaves. The white people loved to torture the African americans, they treated them like animals even if they did their jobs as slaves correctly.

They were always ruled by white because as I stated before they had a lot more power than black and or Africans. They had much more to do and live for so they basically took advantage of the blacks by using them for themselves they didn’t really care how they felt as long as they were provided with everything they needed and or wanted!

You are correct. In the past, the whites always had a superior over the blacks no matter what. The whites would have ruled the blacks or the blacks would have been treated differently from how the whites were treated. The whites were never slaves or worked however the blacks were slaves and they were forced to work by the whites.

They never got fed more! The more they did the more for the whites… simple! They barely fed them when they didn’t do as much they didn’t care about the blacks at all!

Yes, however you can add more. The whites never gave the blacks more food if they did their work well or stop hitting them. And the usual food the blacks received from the whites can barely get them to survive an hour its like giving a bunch of dogs one piece of meat with isn’t even big.

  1. How come the only people taken as slaves were blacks and Africans?
  2. How come when the people were working for the other they still had to be tied up?
  3. I’m confused, how come even though they did their work correctly they still got hit?
  4. Why were they always ruled by whites?
  5. Did they ever get fed more than usual, when they did good things?
