Welcome: Types of Family

Description: People belong to different types of family. This webquest will take you on a path where you will explore the different family structure. You site see the many different parts of your family. You will be highly engage in interactive activities that speaks about family members. Finally you will create your own family type. 

Grade 2

Subject: Integrated Studies

We are about to explore the family world. As we travel along the path we will watch videos, draw pictures and listen to stories. Create your own family type and the different relationship.

Objectives. 

Students should complete the following

1. Define the term family.

2. Explain the characteristics of the family.

3. Identify at least 5 family types 

4. Create a picture of your family.

I  hope you adored exploring the types of family. The pictures were highly geared to grab your attention.   I'm sure you were able to create an make beautiful models of your family type efficiently and have some great pictures of your family type.  Did you know about the other types of families?

I am certain that you were educated a lot about the different family type.  I hope that learning about your type of family  you will get to love and appreciate the members in your family.

By now, you have had a learned a vast amount of thing about different types of family that exists and was able to identify the type of family you are associated with.

Wasn't it cool to write a letter to your friend telling him or your about your type of family. Did you know about all of the people in your family?  I bet you learned about people in your family that you never knew existed.

Finally, you used all of the skills that you have been practicing to write a wonderful letter about your family. I am certain that the whole class enjoyed learning about the different types of family and they will appreciate their family more. 

Retain your letter you will want to share it with your close friend or children someday.
