Introduction
You will create four separate Webquests for math skills that you have learned this year. These webquests will be used by other fourth grade students to practice the skills. For example, you could create one for division, multiplication, prime and composite numbers, factors and multiples, etc. Do you have any other ideas?
Task
With a partner, you will select one math skill to research, create a webquest and present to your teacher and class.
Using Webquest, you will introduce the skill, teach how do the math problem step-by-step with illustrations, come up with example math problems and solutions, and find other websites the user may use to practice the skill.
Each week when we meet, you will have set goals that must be met. You may have to do some work at home to complete these goals.
Process
First, you will select a math skill to research and teach. You may use the Clarkston fourth grade curriculum guide to help you select a topic:
K-5 District Curriculum Brochures - Clarkston Community Schools
Second, you will reseach the skill using math resources online or in your classroom. Select two example problems that you solve step by step using words and illustrations to describe how you solved the problems.
Third, you will come up with example problems that the user may solve. You will also provide solutions to the problems so the user may check his/her own work.
Finally, you will find other websites the user(s) may go to to practice the skill further.

Evaluation
You teacher will look at your work each week and provide feedback.
